Linnea Quigley was born in Davenport, Iowa, on May 27, 1958.  Her parents are Dorothy and Heath Quigley.  Dorothy was a housewife and Heath was a chiropractor and psychiatrist.  Heath moved his family to Los Angeles in the late 70's.  Shortly thereafter Linnea started getting work in B-movies. Stone Cold Dead and Psycho from Texas were one of her first films.  But it wasn't until 1985 that she really started getting attention in The Return of the Living Dead, which has since become a cult classic.  Since then she is considered to be the "Queen of Bs".

In 1990 she married Steve Johnson, a special effects wizard, but that marriage ended after only a couple of years.  In 2001 she moved to Florida to be closer to her parents and also because she wanted a change.  Currently she lives in Florida with her numerous pets.  She is a devoted animal rights supporter and she still appears at conventions around the world.  She has written two books, "Bio & Chainsaw" in 1992, and "I'm Screaming as Fast as I Can" in 1995.

After 25 years Linnea has appeared in more than 70 films!
