Bruce Campbell

Bruce Campbell has got to be one of my all-time favorite horror movie actors.  From the first time I saw him in The Evil Dead I knew I just had to see more of his movies.  So I bought all three of The Evil Dead Trilogies and watched them back to back.  Bruce is so entertaining that I just HAD to see MORE!  I saw him a few times in Xena on TV and once on X-Files. And I remember seeing him in cameo roles in such movies as Darkman, Spider-Man and Maniac Cop. I loved him as "Elvis" in Bubba Ho-Tep.  Although not an overly scary movie, at least in my opinion, it was very entertaining, none-the-less due mainly to Bruce Campbell.

The more I watched Bruce Campbell, the more my husband starting showing an interest (and no, not in THAT way!).  He bought Bruce's book If Chins Could Kill : Confessions of a B Movie Actor.  He finished the book before I got a hold of it.  The book is so well written, it feels as if Bruce is sitting right in front of you reading it himself.  A really good look at his life, growing up and how he got into show business.

I think part of Bruce's charm on screen is that he looks like he's having way too much damn fun!  His sense of humor and quirky one-liners make him a favorite with horror buffs all over the world.
